Happy Friday everyone. I decided to keep with the super hero theme for another day but put a slightly different spin on it by dropping our duo in real world locations, giving them word bubbles, and going with a wider background. Hope you enjoy them. Let me know what you think HERE.

Halloween Costumes: Day #17

Kenny Powers put it best when he said "Sometimes when you bring the thunder, you get lost in the storm." I feel that this quote is apt for Day 17 in a month long marathon of 2 costumes a day. Simply put: this is a return to Thor's Day.

If you're new to my comics I'll catch you up to speed: last fall I had a 10 week stint making comics about the thunder god, Thor, attempting to find employment in the mortal realm. Every Thursday was Thor's Day and I'd do a new 3 panel strip. After 10 weeks I decided the joke was over and that I'd do some real work on an original property: ES.

Today being Thursday and a day in need of some costumes I figured I'd make it a Throwback Thor's Day. Hope you enjoy them and the music at the end of the post. Let me know what you think HERE.

We're now on the sixteenth day of Halloween Costumes and it also happens to be Winston Wednesday. I'm still going strong, working on Issue #3 of "The Casebook of Elijah Snugs" and all the while pounding out these pictures. I hope you enjoy today's sport themed pictures. You may notice that Snugs uniform bears a certain resemblance to a team that's very special to me and as an added bonus for Winston Wednesday I've dropped our piggy pal into a favorite game from my youth. Halloween Costumes: Day #8

Another day, another couple of costumes. Before we get to Snugs & Winston I thought I'd make mention of the monthly quiz night I co-host in my entry today because our Halloween quiz is tonight. This quiz will double as a food drive for the Food Bank of WNY and we're trying to collect a variety of non-perishable goods for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. If you're in the Buffalo area and want to come to the quiz that would be great and you'd be helping out some people who are truly in need, PLUS you'll get 5 points for every non-perishable food item you bring with you (up to 50 points). Hope you'll be there!

As for today's Halloween Costumes, we're on day 8, and today's costumes are a bit more traditional compared to the Disney-fied, caveman, skeletal forms we've been seeing. Hope you like them. Let me know HERE.

Halloween Costumes: Day #1

So for October I thought I would try something a little interesting and upload new content everyday for the entire month. What I plan on doing is posting pictures of the characters from the Elijah Snugs-verse in a variety of Halloween costumes. Pretty simple really. Check back every day to see these guys outfitted in a new costume. While I'm doing this I'll be sure to keep you abreast of the progress on Issue #3 and any other news that is fit to report. Winston Wednesday (9.25.13)

It's Winston Wednesday, so in addition to some new artwork of my favorite pig-pal, I thought I'd entreat anyone who was interested to cover art for the upcoming issue of "The Casebook of Elijah Snugs." It's Winston Wednesday so I'm updating the website today. Today I thought I'd share a couple of colored panels from the Issue #2 of "The Casebook of Elijah Snugs."  The first two issues to this story arc are currently on sale and I encourage you to buy them if you haven't thus far.
